Electric Vehicle Charge Point Installation

If you’re considering getting an electric car, then we would recommend that you install an electric car charging point at home.  For those with access to off street parking home charging is by far the cheapest way to run your electric vehicle (unless you know of a free charger nearby!).  Charging at home is also convenient, with no trips to a station to fill up. It is also much cheaper to run than an ICE car, especially if you have a nightime off peak electricty tarrif.

If you are installing an EV charge point and have a solar array, so you can send any excess electricity you generate directly to your car. A combination of solar panels, batteries and EV charging gives you renewable generation, storage and electric mobility – a real low-carbon lifestyle change!
